Format
Our online, certification course can be completed in two parts: course and proctored exam. The training course offers a comprehensive training experience in CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems, developed for those seeking to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of security cameras. You will explore the fundamental principles, latest technologies, best practices in CCTV installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and more. You will then demonstrate your understanding with our online, closed-note, proctored exam.
Duration
The certification is designed with approximately 18 hours of learning materials and assessments. Note: This is not a CEU course, it is the initial certification course recognized by AESBL.
Course Access
Participants have up to 6 months to complete the course and proctored exam upon enrollment.

Training Methodology

Participants can retake the CCTV101: Professional Certification Course assessments as needed to earn a perfect score without penalty. This training standard ensures that learners fully grasp each concept before moving forward, reinforcing a deep and lasting understanding of the subject matter.
Upon the successful completion of the course, participants will schedule a proctored final exam. This exam is closed-note and a score of 80% of higher must be earned to be awarded the downloadable CCTV Professional Certificate.

Digital Certificate
The CCTV 101: Professional Certification Certificate will be issued after earning 80% or higher on the proctored final exam. The certificate is downloadable and includes your name, date you earned your certification, and includes a unique identifying number, providing an added layer of verification and professionalism.

Upon the successful completion of each course, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion to be included in your AESBL package. Th certificate is downloadable and includes your name, date you earned your certification, total CEUs earned, and includes the approved Alabama Alarm Association Approved Course Number and a unique identifying number, providing an added layer of verification and professionalism.
