We are excited to launch the first volume of the International Journal of Remote Work (IJRW). This will be an online publication offering peer-reviewed articles that represent the viewpoints and findings of remote and hybrird workers in a variety of fields. Our vision for the IJRW is to help professionals and leaders stay updated with the latest research, innovative ideas, and trends shaping the future of remote work.

All topics should relate to Productivity, Access, Communication, or Engagement in a Remote or Hybrid work environment. Below are a few ideas to get you started.

Productivity

Research on factors influencing remote work productivity, methods to enhance performance, and innovative tools and technologies that measure or support remote work efficiency.

  1. How are remote work practices enhancing or hindering productivity in your organization?
  2. How has remote work affected your daily productivity?
  3. What habits have you developed to stay productive while working remotely?

Explore the effects of remote work on organizational culture, performance metrics, and long-term business goals and outcomes.

  1. What innovative strategies have you implemented to align remote work with business goals and outcomes?
