WorkForceRemote.org is excited to announce a CALL FOR PROPOSALS for the inaugural volume of the International Journal of Remote Work (IJRW) launching in 2025. We invite both students and faculty across all disciplines to submit articles based on their research and experiences. Help shape the future of remote work with your unique perspectives and innovative ideas!
If your proposal is accepted, you will receive support throughout the process and a later deadline for submitting your full paper for peer review and potential publication.
For Students
We are seeking articles based on academic projects or research related to working or studying in a remote environment. Ideas for topics include:
- Dynamics of working in teams in a distributed environment (remote groups)
- Remote interviewing experiences
- Class projects that can be developed into published papers
- Workplace experiences of fully remote or hybrid environments
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to enhance their academic portfolios and share innovative approaches to remote work in areas like productivity, access, communication, and engagement.
For Faculty
We are looking for articles that focus on research, teaching practices, or case studies related to remote work in a variety of fields, especially:
- Remote teaching methods and innovations
- Faculty-led research on remote work trends
- Case studies involving remote work dynamics in business or academic settings
- Something new that awes and inspires the world!
Faculty members are encouraged to collaborate with students or submit their own scholarly work to contribute to the broader discussion of remote work and its impact.
