Donna Chetta, a seasoned veteran with over twenty years of service, has been a driving force in fostering effective and cohesive teams. Her roles as a public health educator, safety and health program developer, and corporate wellness consultant for Louisiana’s local, state, and federal organizations have been pivotal. She has also extended her expertise internationally, providing training support and team-building services for the military’s Partnership for Peace program in Uzbekistan and Belize.
She also served as the Civil Operator Program Manager for the Louisiana National Guard Counterdrug Task Force Program, where she played a key role in building a state-wide drug prevention system post-Hurricane Katrina. Her dedication to public service was further recognized in her assistance in creating the Greater New Orleans Drug Control Strategy, where she provided leadership in guiding the coalition through the strategic planning process, fostering a solid response to reducing substance abuse.
Upon retiring from her military career, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana College and worked in multiple hospital settings. She is a Certified Health Coach and Certified Health Education Specialist CHES®. She led efforts in building cross-functional teams and developing skills training programs for clinical coach nurses for a start-up remote patient monitoring company, where her contributions led to increased patient engagement and retention.
Ms. Chetta recently formed Wellness Dimensions, LLC, a veteran-owned small business, to help organizations promote and integrate safety, health, and well-being into the lives of their employees. Her company offers health and wellness solutions for individuals and organizations. She is a subject matter expert in designing customized health promotion programs, team-building, strategic planning, and training leaders to recognize and address the physical and psychological risk factors associated with burnout. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Upper Iowa University and a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance from Northwestern University with a concentration in Health Promotion. Her hobbies include writing, educating others on physical and mental health, and working on her Jeep.
Course Description
Managing stress and preventing burnout are critical for maintaining mental health and productivity, especially in remote and hybrid work environments.
