    Course Description

    This course is designed for security professionals looking to deepen their expertise in CCTV site assessments. Participants will learn the essentials of conducting thorough site discoveries, evaluating security needs, carrying out effective site surveys, and documenting and communicating their findings. This course will equip participants with the skills needed to assess security vulnerabilities, understand site-specific security requirements, and recommend the optimal placement of CCTV equipment to meet clients’ security objectives.

    The CCTV Professional Certification is designed to allow participants the opportunity to:

    1. Compare the components and functionalities of analog and digital CCTV systems.
    2. Recognize effective design for CCTV systems including camera selection, placement, and site-specific requirements.
    3. Identify proper installation techniques for CCTV systems for cabling, camera setup, and DVR/NVR integration.
    4. Demonstrate how to configure and integrate CCTV systems within network infrastructures, ensuring network security.
    5. Evaluate and troubleshoot common issues and maintenance practices in CCTV systems.
    6. Assess the ethical implications in the use and installation of CCTV systems.
    7. Investigate advancements and trends in CCTV technology, including high-definition cameras, wireless systems, and AI in surveillance.
