He is also the lead course instructor for CCTV certifications and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses, specializing in professional training that equips learners with cutting-edge knowledge in surveillance technologies, installation best practices, and system management. His training programs focus on blending technical precision with practical applications to address real-world challenges in the security and IT industries.
Mark brings over 20 years of experience in IT, including roles as Network Operations Manager at Columbia Southern University, where he supported enterprise-level systems for 30,000 students and 1,000 staff, and as Project Manager at N.E.S.T., where he led complex building management system implementations for clients like Morton’s Steakhouse and Crate & Barrel.

Course Description
Participants will learn the essentials of conducting thorough site assessments by evaluating security needs, carrying out site surveys, and documenting and communicating their findings. This course will equip participants with the skills needed to assess security vulnerabilities, understand site-specific security requirements, and recommend the optimal placement of CCTV equipment to meet clients’ security objectives. This course was designed for: CCTV Installers, Service Technicians, and Sales Engineers.
